Journey of Igbo Land Through (JoILT) Dance: 6 week pass

Come join us for a unique Igbo dance class in Catonsville, MD, USA! Let's go on a journey through Igbo Land through dance.  No passport needed!  Each week we focus on one of the main Igbo speaking States and focus on dance styles from that State.

Week 1 - Anambra State

Week 2 - Abia State

Week 3 - Enugu State

Week 4 - Imo State

Week 5 - Ebonyi State

Week 6 - Delta State and Rivers State

This dance class is perfect for all levels. Not only will you learn different dance styles, but by the end of the 6 weeks, you will have learnt two new choreography which will be built upon each week. 

Kaosochi Obi will guide you through the steps and help you embrace the rich cultural heritage of Igbo people. You do not need to attend all 6 classes, you can pick which ones you attend, selection can be made upon order.

Spring Class (every Saturday) from 24th February - 30th March 2024

Fall Classes (every Saturday) from 12th October - 16th November 2024

Classes are 19am - 10am each week
